{"id":19425,"date":"2019-01-24T08:48:07","date_gmt":"2019-01-24T07:48:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bluforce.fitt.com\/fitt-bluforce-potenzia-la-rete-idrica-del-comune-di-montesano-della-marcellana-sa\/"},"modified":"2020-01-07T15:46:42","modified_gmt":"2020-01-07T14:46:42","slug":"fitt-bluforce-boosts-the-municipality-of-marcellanas-sa-water-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bluforce.fitt.com\/en\/fitt-bluforce-boosts-the-municipality-of-marcellanas-sa-water-network\/","title":{"rendered":"FITT Bluforce boosts the municipality of Marcellana\u2019s (SA) water network"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221; row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section=&#8221;no&#8221; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; angled_section=&#8221;no&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; background_image_as_pattern=&#8221;without_pattern&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<a href=\"https:\/\/bluforce.fitt.com\/\"><strong>FITT Bluforce<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<strong>DN160 PN20<\/strong>\u00a0polymer alloy pipe was chosen for\u00a0<strong>renovation and upgrade works to the water network in the Scalo area<\/strong>, in the province of Salerno.<\/p>\n<p>FITT Bluforce was the preferred piping for construction, as per PE100 DN200 PN25, after a call to tender, due to:\u00a0<strong>the proven reliability of the joint in the socket system<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>with a hot pre-inserted seal<\/strong>; the\u00a0<strong>angular deviation of the joint<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>flexing capacity of the bars<\/strong>, which have allowed a drastic reduction in the number of special parts to be used in the piping;\u00a0<strong>the high resistance to delivered loads and the crack propagation<\/strong>, which ensure that the system is working properly; as well as its durability in the presence of critical laying conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Although FITT Bluforce\u2019s nominal diameter (DN) was reduced when compared to the initial design (160 instead of 200),\u00a0<strong>the lower thickness of polymer alloy pipes still<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>increased the internal space available and the carrying capacity of the pipe<\/strong>, maintaining\u00a0<strong>adequate stiffness<\/strong>\u00a0for the laying conditions and a\u00a0<strong>pressure class suitable<\/strong>\u00a0for hydraulic conditions when stationary and with water hammer.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>laying<\/strong> was carried out at a <strong>daily rate of approximately 200 m per day<\/strong>, although the initial portion of the development, near where the laying took place, was characterised by surface bridging. <strong>The flexibility of the FITT Bluforce system<\/strong> and the <strong>smaller trench sizes<\/strong> allowed the company <strong>to optimise the site\u2019s size<\/strong>, depending on the course of the pipes, and <strong>effectively plan the various work phases<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;18331,18332,18333,18334,18335,18329,18330&#8243; column_number=&#8221;6&#8243; grayscale=&#8221;no&#8221; images_space=&#8221;gallery_without_space&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FITT Bluforce DN160 PN20 polymeric alloy piping was chosen for renovation and upgrade works to the water network in the Scalo area, in the province of Salerno.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":13,"featured_media":19316,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[25],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-19425","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.6 -
