For the major irrigation project planned in the Sinis Sud district<\/strong>, a peninsula located in the central-western part of Sardinia, FITT Bluforce<\/strong><\/a> and FITT Bluforce RJ<\/strong><\/a> pipes were selected as improved solutions compared to the PVC-U pipes initially identified.<\/p>\n

The project, thanks to which a consortium irrigation infrastructure<\/strong> with a territorial extension of approximately 2700 Ha<\/strong> will be realised, will see the installation of the following FITT Bluforce RJ wide radius restraint joint bends<\/strong>: 20 PN16 DN400 45\u00b0 bends, 6 PN16 DN250 90\u00b0 bends, 2 PN16 DN160 90\u00b0 bends.<\/p>\n

In addition to guaranteeing the many benefits of PVC-A<\/strong>, such as flexibility, mechanical strength and durability, the wide radius restraint joint bends<\/strong> are able to respond effectively to the many requirements of building companies, designers and integrated water system utilities.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Restraint joint system<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The FITT Bluforce RJ<\/strong> range is characterised by the presence of the Bulldog\u00ae seal<\/strong><\/a>, a socket-based jointing system with the seal mechanically hot-inserted in advance<\/strong> during the socket forming phase.<\/p>\n

The hot pre-insertion of the seal, in addition to guaranteeing absolute stability <\/strong>of the gasket itself, ensures ease of assembly<\/strong> and high hydraulic and mechanical sealing performance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The elimination of anchor blocks<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Thanks to the use of the Bulldog\u00ae sealing system<\/strong>, there is no need to use concrete anchorage blocks, which normally have a considerable bulk and performance influenced by the type of soil.<\/p>\n

The elimination of anchor blocks<\/strong><\/a> considerably simplifies installation and calculation operations, making the intervention of designers, building companies and integrated water system utilities easier.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

A wide, high-performance range<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The restraint joint bends<\/strong> are able to cope with wide bending radii<\/strong>, with angles of 45\u00b0 and 90\u00b0, in diameters 90, 110, 160, 200 and, on request, up to diameter 400.<\/p>\n
