The 2024 edition of IFAT<\/strong>, the international event<\/strong> that focuses on water and wastewater management<\/strong>, as well as waste<\/strong> and raw materials<\/strong>, has just ended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here FITT presented “FITT Infrastructure Solutions<\/strong>“, the entire range<\/strong> of FITT’s Infrastructure world, which can be found enclosed in a single brochure<\/strong>.
It illustrates products dedicated to the drinking water<\/strong> transport sector<\/strong>, the sewage sector<\/strong> and, finally, the transport of pressurised fluids<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transport of drinking water<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

FITT Bluforce<\/strong> is a pipe for the supply and distribution of water and irrigation networks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

made of  PVC-A* (PVC-HI)<\/strong>, a material that guarantees the product very high resistance to shock and crack propagation<\/strong>, significant anti-corrosive properties<\/strong> and excellent durability<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

FITT Bluforce<\/strong> features the jointing system Power Lock\u00ae<\/strong>, with integrated<\/strong> gasket<\/strong>, mechanically pre-inserted <\/strong>during the hot formation of the socket based joint, ensuring absolute stability<\/strong>, and therefore easy assembly<\/strong>, perfect functionality <\/strong>and optimal long-term hydraulic tightness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Europe, FITT Bluforce is, together with FITT Bluforce RJ, the first PVC-A<\/strong> (PVC-HI)* aqueduct system<\/strong> to be EPD\u00ae-certified<\/strong>, the environmental product declaration<\/strong>, which provides certified product life cycle data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FITT Bluforce RJ<\/strong> is the Europe’s first thermoplastic pipe withsocket-based jointing system<\/strong>. The mechanical seal and the hydraulic tightness achieved with the Bulldog\u00ae<\/strong> seal <\/strong>allow easy, fast and safe installation <\/strong>without the need for thrust blocks, even on steep slopes and landslide prone terrains.The Bulldog\u00ae<\/strong> jointing system makes FITT Bluforce RJ ideal for trenchless applications such as Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with FITT Bluforce, FITT Bluforce RJ is made of PVC-A (PVC-HI)* <\/strong>and is certified EPD\u00ae<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(*) At a regulatory level, it is defined as a polymeric alloy of Poly Vinyl Chloride with high impact strength PVC-HI (such as PVC-M, PVC-A, PVC-CPE). PVC-HI (PVC-M, PVC-A, PVC-CPE) is a thermoplastic material that contains PVC resin with the addition of an impact modifier (PVC-High Impact). Depending on the type of impact modifier, the acronym HI can be replaced with various designations (PVC-A, Acrylic or PVC-A Alloy (polymer alloy); PVC-CPE, Chlorinated Polyethylene; PVC-M, Modified).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FITT Sewer ICE<\/strong> is the new pipeline<\/strong> for pressure sewer systems and gravity manifolds<\/strong>. FITT Sewer ICE is the first PVC-U pipe with both UNI EN 1401 and UNI EN ISO 1452 certification <\/strong>and therefore KIWA-UNI marked<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the ice crystal feature<\/strong>, FITT Sewer ICE confirms its particular shock resistance capability at 0\u00b0<\/strong>, as required by the ISO 3127 standard, and also the fulfillment of the UNI EN 1401 additional requirement, which guarantees shock resistance down to -10\u00b0C<\/strong> (ISO 11173).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Power Lock\u00ae socket based joint system<\/strong>, with integrated gasket, mechanically pre-inserted during the hot formation of the socket based joint, ensures perfect stability <\/strong>and functionality over time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
