Two days full of content, meetings and constructive discussion marked the first official visit to the FITT offices of Viva Servizi, a reference point in the management of the Integrated Water Service over a territory of 43 municipalities in the provinces of Ancona and Macerata. A significant moment, which transformed a consolidated collaboration into an opportunity for open dialogue on the themes of sustainability, innovation and future challenges in water network management.

In the heart of FITT

The visit began at the Sandrigo headquarters, where the Viva Servizi team was welcomed for an introduction to the vision and values of the FITT Group. The focus of the meeting was the transformation path undertaken by the company through its sustainability strategy, a long-term orientation that combines industrial innovation and environmental responsibility.

From theory to practice, with an eye to the future

The second day, which took place at the Fara Vicentino production plant, was entirely dedicated to technical discussions. Ecodesign and Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) were discussed, as well as low environmental impact solutions and technologies such as the FITT Bluforce system and Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), and innovative solutions for sewage applications, such as FITT Sewer ICE.

Ample space was reserved for the themes of environmental certifications, with particular attention to the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) methodology and EPD certification. In this context, Professor Alessandro Manzardo from the University of Padua gave a speech that strengthened the link between FITT and the academic world, emphasising the importance of collaboration in the search for increasingly sustainable solutions.

During the final workshop, participants were involved in an open discussion on opportunities and critical issues related to the adoption of innovative technologies to reduce environmental impact.

It was a moment of authentic exchange that allowed different experiences to be compared but which shared the same objective: to build more resilient, efficient and environmentally friendly networks.

Finally, a visit to the production departments, the laboratory and the logistics area of the plant allowed Viva Servizi to closely observe the rigour, quality and constant research that guide each phase of FITT’s industrial process.

The FITT Experience with Viva Servizi has represented a valuable opportunity of comparison and mutual enrichment, which has allowed not only to deepen the knowledge of the respective realities, but also to feed an open dialogue on challenges, opportunities and future goals.
