In the heart of the vineyards of Saint Cécile Les Vignes, a French municipality located at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in the Vaucluse department (84), an irrigation project is underway involving a large wine region famous for the production of the renowned Côtes-du-Rhône wines with AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) denomination.
The project involves the installation of more than 3000ml of FITT Bluforce pipes: 2226 ml of FITT Bluforce diameter 110 PN 16, 872 ml of diameter 160 PN 16 and 252 ml of diameter 200 PN16.
Thanks to their many qualities, FITT Bluforce pipes were chosen by the installation companies RAMPA, TEYSSIER & FILS and T.P.R. Société. A choice validated by the CA-EAU project manager, for whom FITT Bluforce pipes represent an improved solution in terms of material quality and technology.
FITT Bluforce pipes are characterised by their extreme ductility, hence the absence of brittle cracks. Thanks to their high resistance to impact and point loads, the pipes prevent crack propagation, even at low temperatures.
One of the distinguishing features of FITT Bluforce pipes lies in their excellent corrosion resistance, which makes the pipes completely inert to chemical aggression, as well as impermeable to pollutants and stray currents.
The project, developed in the heart of a vineyard, requires pipes and materials capable of adapting to the peculiarities of a terrain, that of wine production, characterised by irregularities and particularly restricted areas. This need is met by the flexibility of a material, PVC-A, which gives FITT Bluforce pipes the ability to adapt to the conformity of the terrain.
FITT Bluforce pipes are once again a guarantee of strength, reliability and durability.
