02 Nov FITT Bluforce to guarantee drinking water in a village in the Haute-Loire region in France
5,190 metres of FITT Bluforce PN16 – from DN 90 to DN 110 and DN 125 –, were used to supply drinking water from the Silcuzin reservoir to the village of Rognac in the Haute-Loire, in France.
The managing utility chose PVC-A because of its ability to meet the punching loads and its greater ductility compared to other materials: thanks to the extreme bending radius properties of FITT Bluforce, it was possible to adapt the layout of the installation to the geographical conformation of the territory, characterised by many steep slopes and bends.
Reduced social and environmental costs, safety during the implementation phase and easy section assembly are the advantages of using FITT Bluforce, the first PVC-A pipe with EPD environmental product declaration certified by SGS according to the ISO 14025 and EN 15804 pipe standards.
