Operating instructions for proper installation of FITT Bluforce and FITT Bluforce RJ piping.

Remove the protection caps fitted on the smooth end as well as on the pipe socket based joint

Using a dry cloth or brush, clean the smooth end and, above all, clean the socket based joint and gasket thoroughly to remove any impurities

Using a dry cloth or brush, clean the smooth end and, above all, clean the socket based joint and gasket thoroughly to remove any impurities; check that the tensile resistant ring is positioned correctly

Apply food-grade gel with a brush to the smooth end as well as to the gasket and sealing ring

Apply food-grade gel with a brush to the smooth end as well as to the gasket and sealing ring; do not apply the gel to the mechanical seal ring

Check that the end of the smooth pipe is chamfered correctly; check the insertion limit marks. Insert the smooth end into the socket based joint: the two pipes must be aligned.

Check that the end of the smooth pipe is chamfered correctly; check the insertion limit marks. Insert the smooth end into the socket based joint: the two pipes must be aligned.

If piping is being cut on site, measure the distance from the end of the pipe to the first insertion limit mark on the smooth end of an uncut pipe, then replicate it on the smooth end of the cut pipe; chamfer the newly cut pipe.

Push the pipe all the way in (1st insertion limit mark); up to DN 250, this can be done using pry bars, while for bigger DN sizes, pipe pullers or earthmoving machinery will be required.

Push the pipe all the way in (2nd insertion limit mark); up to DN 250, this can be done using pry bars, while for bigger DN sizes, pipe pullers or earthmoving machinery will be required.
