11 Apr FITT is back to welcoming visitors: a visit from the French technicians of Canal de Saint Julien
After numerous digital events, the FITT Academy has returned to face-to-face meetings.
Training, education and in-depth study activities resumed with international guests, welcoming a delegation of technicians from the French Canal de Saint Julien utility. Canal de Saint Julien is the oldest irrigation canal in Provence: it covers 6,000 hectares, with 150,000m3 of water supply, 5,000 customers, 250 kilometres of gravity networks and 70 kilometres of pressurised networks.
After a first corporate session at the Sandrigo headquarters dedicated to introducing the company and its sustainability strategy, the French technicians were accompanied by the FITT team to the Fara Vicentino plant, where the FITT Bluforce water system pipes are manufactured. The meeting agenda was packed with topics, ranging from a focus on PVC-A to a comparison of the polymer alloy with other materials, from trenchless techniques to the advantages of FITT Bluforce RJ’s tensile resistant jointing system, also discussing the EPD environmental product certification, and finally ending with a tour of our labs and production lines.
A new start in the name of innovation, sustainability and internationality, the pillars of the FITT’s business approach.
