The return to school has also marked the restart of the FITT Bluforce Academy digital masterclass program, the digital initiative by FITT open to designers, utilities technicians and reclamation consortia. In addition to FITT, the event of 16 September saw the participation of the order of Engineers of Latina, the University of Padua and LA.SPE. srl, a company specialized in No-Dig technologies.

The streaming event, called “Innovation and eco-sustainability of products and solutions in drinking water network, irrigation and sewage applications. Focus on PVC-A polymer alloy pipes”, discussed several topics: from the characteristics and advantages of PVC-A compared to other materials, to directional drilling laying systems; from the FITT Bluforce tensile resistant jointing system solution – the first PVC-A solution with environmental product declaration EPD –, to the true importance of environmental product declarations in the construction industry.

The event was made all the more interesting by the remote interventions of the many participants, with an interesting debate full of ideas, anecdotes and suggestions.

THE FITT BLUFORCE ACADEMY PROJECT

FITT Bluforce Academy was conceived to share the technical and technological know-how of FITT with the players of the infrastructure network sector. The Academy is the set of seminars, courses and experiential activities that FITT offers to designers, technicians of utilities and reclamation consortia.
The training programs of the Academy are constantly updated, adapting to the real needs of the participants, creating a flexible and efficient dissemination model.
