16 Jun Servizi a Rete Tour 2026: Two Days of Discussion on the Water Networks of the Future
Once again this year, FITT will take part in the 11th edition of Servizi a Rete Tour, the leading event for the water infrastructure and utility networks sector, taking place on 25–26 June 2026 at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence. With Publiacqua as official partner and host, the event represents an important opportunity for discussion and exchange among utility managers, engineers, designers, institutions and all stakeholders involved in the development and management of network infrastructures.
This year’s theme, “Water, Designing the Future. From the Galli Law to Climate Change”, will guide the debate on the challenges and opportunities facing the integrated water service sector, focusing on sustainability, innovation and adaptation to new environmental scenarios.
Water Reuse and Georeferencing: New Product Developments on Display in Florence
Within the innovation area, FITT will present several important new product developments. Among them is FITT Lilforce, the new PVC-HI (PVC-A) solution developed for infrastructures dedicated to the reuse of treated wastewater. The system has been designed to meet emerging sector requirements while ensuring operational continuity and full integration with existing networks.
Alongside FITT Lilforce, FITT Map will also take centre stage. This digital service for the georeferencing of rigid pipelines is designed to improve traceability and information availability throughout the entire infrastructure lifecycle. FITT Map offers new opportunities for network monitoring, management and development, supporting the ongoing digital transformation of the sector.
Also on display will be FITT’s established solutions for water supply and pressurised sewer networks: FITT Bluforce, the EPD-certified PVC-HI (PVC-A) system, and FITT Sewer ICE, the solution combining UNI EN 1401 and UNI EN ISO 1452 certifications, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to quality, reliability and sustainability.
The Castelsardo Case Study: The Contribution of PVC-HI (PVC-A) to Environmental Protection
During the first day of the event, Nicola Melotti, Application Engineer of FITT’s Building Division, will present the Castelsardo case study together with Emanuele Meloni, Head of Maintenance Engineering and Plants for the Wastewater Treatment Department at Abbanoa.
The project involved the installation of more than 7,600 metres of FITT Bluforce PVC-HI (PVC-A) pipes, selected for a strategic intervention aimed at environmental protection and improved wastewater management in an area characterised by a strong tourism vocation. The project provides a concrete example of how the properties of PVC-HI (PVC-A) polymer alloy can contribute to the development of more reliable, durable and efficient infrastructures.
Servizi a Rete Tour will be an opportunity to discuss the challenges that the sector will face in the coming years.
